Sorry, I'd rather you not do that, for personal reasons.

4- NOPE! Lilos older sister and that one guy from the restaurant who was doing all that cool fire stuff. It wasn't the focus of the story but I WIN!

It sounds like you might have a little problem with this whole romance thing.
Its included in almost every story for a reason, everyone can and does have to deal with it, and unless you are a robot you are going to want some at some point in your life.
But it doesn't automatic turn everyone into a freaky obsessed "ZOMG HE ASKED WHAT TIME IT WAS!!1 WE ARE GOING TO GET MARRIED AND HAVE 500 BABIEZ!!!1! LOLOLOLOK"
Dealing with the subject will make your characters seem more human, lets take a look at Lilos Older Sister. She would like to be involved with that hunky dude who playing with fire. However she is currently dealing with the child security guys and finding a job and the weird freaky alien dog she got stuck with and her crazy little sister. So she recognizes that she is WAY to busy right now to throw in a relationship on top of it.
And thats why the writers don't really go anywhere with it however they did show the tension she had but they didn't throw it in your face.

I'm not romancephobic. I think I'm wording this the wrong way.
Okay, romance doesn't ruin a movie. I do like some stories with some romance in them, it just needs to be in the right conditions. However, I don't like it when attraction is thrown in in every new movie or book coming out. It's so cliche, you know? Usually when there is a boy and a girl involved, it almost always ends up with them falling in love with each other. It hurts my head.
I know Nani was dating David, but that wasn't the focus like you said. If it were Lilo and Stitch who fell in love, well, 1) beastiality, and 2) another gushy, goo-goo, kissy love story.
BUT when there's a series of a show on TV, and the writers add in a girl or boy and the whole thing takes a different turn, THAT'S what messes things up.

Oh you mean like in "I am Number Four" or "Final Fantasy X" Those didn't work because the Writer sucked and so the characters where Complete Morons. Chances are if writers can't write create good characters, they can't write a good romance either.
