PERFECTIONISM | From my perspective, perfectionism can be the pursuit of excellence, but also a steadfast practice of obtaining the best possible outcome or state of living. No matter which one you practice, you will get tired of such lifestyle. But if it’s imbedded in you, you can’t just erase that without it leaving a mark.
One type of perfectionism with duality is when you know you’re thorough, you are able to achieve a great level of perfection because you have great observational skills. It’s a gift and a curse. A lot of people confuse this for being an empath. You see everything, everyone, you feel their emotions, you distinguish energy in the room the moment you walk in. It sounds like a superpower, and it is, if you know how to manage it. It feels like a curse when you’re the only one who has this ability and others make you feel inferior because of it. It can’t be turned off, even if you want to. You have a great advantage over others, but it becomes dreadful when it shows you things you can’t unsee and overlook.
