Finished this thing.
'Tis a bit of fan art of the music video for Lollipop by Mika. I wanted to keep the background with the same feel as he video while making the wolf semi-realistic. Didn't think it would work well together, but apparently it looks okay.
Still hoping the wolf doesn't look too dark.
Kept trying to lighten up the fur but still trying to make him look like a black wolf.

I just took a closer look at the picture and you really put a lot of detail in the wolf. I love it. <3
Not only is Mika one of my favorite artists, but the music video for Lollipop always cheers me up.
I would have this as a poster in my room.

Which reminds me, I was just about to fave this there, I clicked 'open in new tab', assumed it opened and nuked everything.

I printed it and sadly the fur detail didn't come through, aside from the stuff around the edges.

Yes, it's a pity. I mean, the wolf in the video is just a 'shadow' so I kinda like it, but you do what you want.

Yeah, I'm trying to balance that line between keeping him that dark shadowy being and giving him that fur detail. Sorta hard to do.
