It's a lot more teal in person, I'm going to try styling it in some braids and take another picture in sunlight. If it ever stops raining...Dyes used were Directions - Turquoise and Manic Panic - Purple Haze, applied over white hair and left on for several hours.

how do you get your hair white without completely frying it?? i get mine to light orange/pale yellow and it's completely ruined

It's a process, took a little over a month of fading and bleaching it gradually, conditioning it and trimming it between bleach sessions. Instead of just using a 40 vol and getting it really light immediately, I used a 20 vol or 20/30 vol mix every other week and wash with purple shampoo. Purple shampoo lifts the yellow tones in bleached hair and prevents it from turning brassy, as does a purple toner. So once it's pale enough a purple toner is what turns it white. I also have crazy strong hair that seems to live through whatever I do to it. lol
