Wow... I love how the forms be it the characters or the background motifs are all organically constantly merging & separating, nice "pairing/selection" of the trolls in tandem with John & Rose for a unique sense of hinted relationships. Linework is concrete and the colours rich while being grounded as to give this piece a sense of order without being busily cramped. The imagery & layout of them also evokes the panoramic storytelling of Mexican muralism if nothing else. Just incredible...
