Description I LOVE these guys. They are the most awesome.

For school art. It took me about....5/6 hours in total, I would say. It's not the best but I think it looks quite nice. The paper I used didn't like me. At all.

So here you go. Here is, as Dave calls them, a pepper pot! Aka Dalek. Oh, and sorry about the mixer arm. Got a bit bored there.

Yeah, so, this might be the last you see of me for a while. I've been really busy with art work lately, and my exams are coming up. So I will be busy.

A4 paper (it's just about as long as an A4 piece, but not as wide)
4H, 2H, 2B, 4B, 9B pencils (graphite)

It's so wonderful~ I don't realy look up much art on Daleks x3 I can say that this is the best one I've seen. Some reason I can picture this one saying 'We are the superior beings!' x3

The only thing I really don't think about this is the paper and the "mixer" arm thing. The mixer was the last thing I did, so I was a bit tired of it by then, and the paper was...awful. All grainy. Not good for blending, as you can see in the darker areas (especially BIG areas.)
But I'm still quite fond of it. For once, the scanner didn't completely kill it! It made it a bit light, but that isn't really preventable.

There is actually a funny image I found once that fits quite well with my pepper pot nickname. xD
(If only I still had it. xD)

Otherwise, I like this. It's a bit rough 'round the edges and hazy in places, but overall, the technique is rather interesting. I like the fact that it's practically lineless because it creates a very strong piece, as it's easy to define within lines- but without? Much harder. And I think you've pulled that off very nicely because it's most recognisably a pepper pot, I mean, Dalek.
On that note, I love the little light casings on it's head. They look so carefully detailed and beautifully shaded, it's a shame they don't have lights in them already! That would've looked cool! Well, more so, because this already looks good.

I meant that more as a compliment, not a bad thing, the rough 'round the edges look defines it in the real world as nothing is perfectly rounded, in my experience. :3
