Description
The last of my underwater series for now. This time featuring a diver surrounded by jellyfish. I used reference for the pose.The quality of the photo is not so good, but some of the blue paint that I used for the jellyfish is shiny so the flash shines on it.

Awww, jellyfish. You draw them really good, I love those little (or big) fellows. Even if some of them can be very dangerous.

hahah Yeah I kind of fell in love whim them while painting them. The fact that they can be almost every colour gives you so many options!

If you like the colourful ones, you have to take a look on the Physalia family. They are very toxic but beautiful. Do you know that some jellyfish species have a diameter of two meters? They are fascinating animals.
Some years ago when we were at the beach and I was a kid, I collected all stranded jellyfish in a bucket and brought them back into the sea. Nowadays I think that was not very effective because they were dead back then, but at least it showed my good will to save them

I checked that one and they are scary and beautiful. I had actually never seen a real one until last year. We don't get jellyfish where I'm from. I went on holiday to Vietnam and there were so many. Literally everywhere in the sea, you would see one every two meters. They were pretty harmeless though, the efects of their venom were like mosquito bites.
They weren't very big but there were all different: blue, green, red, pink, back...
