My super (last minute) entry for the Spring Contest of
Kuroshitsuji's Prince Soma -> Peter Rabbit

Awgawd. When thinking of Easter and England, all that pops to my mind is Peter Rabbit and bunnies.
But then, before joining the FC Group, I did not even KNOW of Prince Soma's existence. I mean, I THOUGHT kuroshitsuji was something to do with shit....
So yeah, now I'm a goodie goodie fan of manga.

But, really my first time and failed attempt at is as well of drawing Soma.... I wanted it to be soemthing like he was wearing Peter Rabbit's jacket...then I added shorts, before long, Soma had an outfit of Ciels, as if he stole his wardrobe...Then, I thought, "screw it! He might as well have stolen the shoes too!"

AWGAWD. IM SO TERRIBLY APOLOGETIC TO ALL SOMA FANS AND CIEL FANS ALIKE!

I was reminded to jot down some Victorian Easter explanation noting how this deviation relates to Easter with Soma as the star.
Hmm...
I would say that during the Victorian Era (1837-1901) by Queen Victoria. Everyone in UK was very merry and celebrated traditions merrily. The Easter Holiday itself actually dates back to the pagan times --WAY before Christianity was introduced to England. It was said that Easter was derived from the Anglo-Saxon goddess or dawn and spring-Eostre. [Well at least that's what the first English historian, Venerable Bede said] For the Victorian Easter traditions, there were the whole 'accepting' glove to parade as sign of marriage proposals for the young lovebirds of England, for children, it was to expect delicious treats and chocolate from the 'Easter Bunny'aka.Spring Santa. Favourite pastimes of this holiday would of course include Egg rolling or Egg hunts contests. They were especially popular for everyone of all ages. DAMN. I WANT TO ROLL EGGS TOO. BUT NO. HUNTS ARE ALL I GET.
