it's very simple,really! ..most of the time, he uses only ink to his drawings (but they look more like sketches..)
start with sketching some, and they i'm sure after a while you can draw charters looking just like burtons..

nah, but i think you it's ok to use any kind of pen/pencil, you don't need to have just ink.

I gasped when I saw the thumbnail in my updates!!!! I'm such a fangirl. This is so so lovely! Each ornament is unique. And the very top of the tree is reminiscent of the hill in Nightmare Before Christmas! It's so Burton-esque. I love the body shapes too, and all the froofiness of Victoria's dress. Aw, this made my morning!!
