The previous references are what inspired me to draw this 16 year old Snape. Lily's just left him in the gloomy corridor and he looks lost, incredulous and hurt. Anyone of us has lost a friend, at least once...But for this boy, the loss was so SO devastating....
And why couldn't she care anymore for him...? Did she ever shed a tear over their lost friendship? 'Cuz I'm sure he DID, and more than just a tear.

HB pencil + B5 pencil on A4 paper. Fixed a bit in GIMP2.

Another gorgeous Sev again ! You captured his emotions so well, it´s amazing. It´s like he´s watching in some state of disbelief and shock as Lily leaves him, slowly realizing that he´d just lost her, probably forever. That´s really sad . The poor boy definitely needs a hug right now.

I think Lily was a bit cruel not to accept Sev´s apologies.

The only thing that looks a bit odd is his nose. I know Snape has a big nose, but in this case, it appears to be too big compared to his mouth. Otherwise, it´s a wonderful drawing .

Lovely - I like what you're doing here to suggest volume with that nose, but mostly like the hair and eyes.  The eyes are nicely rounded - which I can appreciate, as I'm still drawing 'almond' shapes for eyes instead of orbs, which is how they should be

His expression is brilliant, his eyes really draw you in.

I love his expression, painful though it is ((( Oh, Severus.

 

I have to say, I've always been of the opinion that Lily was very upset over losing him as a friend...I certainly think she must have cried over it. It seems I'm in the minority though :/

Naw, I always wondered if she was upset as well ...ok, mmmmaybe not as he was, but losing a friend can be an ordeal, sometimes.

Everything seems to go so very wrong when Severus is involved, uh? It's unfair...

aww, I can just see the sadness in those eyes! You've really captured the feeling of the passage . I know you have expressed some frustration over working with hair but you always do such a great job capturing that lank greasy feel That look illustrated on his face of dismay and slow realization is heartbreaking. I guess the only thing I'd suggest as you're continuing to explore his appearance, is to consider some subtle variation/narrowing to the center-plane of his nose but feel free to ignore me :3 I love the soft shading you've done on his face and neck btw. Keep up the awesome work! I look forward to seeing more

You know your advice is always appreciated! Critiques and comments help me improve more and more!! I'll surely try to adjust the nose and then I'll put a new portrait on dA! I'm still experimenting in drawing his features (and I must admit...his hair and his nose can be really challenging! But what's life without a little challenge in it? ).


I'm quite depressing lately, aren't I? XD 

Poor Severus...I should try to give him a satisfied sneer next time, or he'll poison me for sure!

This is one of my favourite, definitely! O.o Such a disproportionate nose in a too thin face! And his piercing eyes...! They reflect his awareness to have lost Lily for ever, it's like a sort of epiphany! Awsome!
