Although the idea is done multiple times, this makes a good image anyway. I like the execution (although I think it still needs some shadow interaction between the octopus tentacles and the boy's body), the boy's expression, the color combination.
It would make a good use for a commercial for a library or book collection.

Oh man! This is great buddy but I saw that white icicle thing and it looks really out of place - I think its supposed to go down the side of the book but it just looks weird. You should have made it vertical like the others, or wrap it around the edge of the book better otherwise. Dunno why I thought I'd just stick that one to you! Other than that its really cool. Great stuff lately btw, always look through all your works

wow! I'm remember a movie... "treasure planet" but, the book in the movie, uses holograms, but the ships, the moon, are very similar.
