Description Lei Yu's break... on a barrel.

So this is maybe 1 or 2 or maybe even 12 days late? But hey, whatever I do I seem to be late, so why break tradition? xD This is Lei Yu (or Lisa if you prefer xD) character. I think/believe/thought that Pan's birthday was 1 or 2 or maybe even 12 days ago, but I can't remember. Stupid brain!!!

I absolutely adore Pan's characters, so I really wanted to get all the details right and make it look good! The pose was half of what made it take so long---it was seriously hard. O.O There are still parts that look off, but meh. You live and learn, as they say. xD Not only that, but half-way through I accidently deleted the base colour layer without knowing it---------NOOOOOOOOOO~~~~
And then when I showed the preview to both my sisters, they both said "wow, that looks very red". BLARGH! And so I went to change it again.



It was hard work, but I'm happy to finally submit it.

Textures is the answer my dear!! xD glorious textures! You can use a massive texture, and overlay it on top of the picture, or you can use texture brushes in certain areas or parts of your drawing. I did both of those things for this picture. I was envious of this type of colouring style too---so I hope this helps you out in your glorious quest!

Oooh, so sorry for the delay! D: See, I was trying to get the details from my siblings since they're the ones who got them in the first place. Basically, I'm clueless. xD
The brush textures were downloaded from this site here. [link] There you go!
As for the overlayed pictures, you could just take a photo of pavement and overlay that. xD I did something similar.

Although I do use filter and layer effects too. But to get that kind of grainy effect on top, aye it's brushes and overlaying pictures all the way!
