Verglace almost tumbled right off the quad after he broke his fall, but managed to grab onto his front arm. For a while, they wobbled awkwardly through the air until a deelagun tail came whipping towards them. If Verglace still had his sword (or dagger? For it had quickly snapped in half), he would've given the thing a good stab, but for now a strong kick and ferocious scream would hopefully be enough to stop the deelagun from swatting his winged saviour out of the air.
