Thanks so much. This one was a relatively quick one to do actually.. maybe 4 hours-ish.
Stuff like brickwork on castles...
Β and the lines on Samurai armour take absolutely ages... the Samurai one too 3 days straight from morning til late into the night to do!! The brickwork on the castle I had to do in 1 hour stints because I was going demented with the repetition, and again that took a few days!

I can just imagine how cramped your hand must have been and how your eyes must have been hurting. ( or maybe not...maybe that only happens to me because of my age LOL) when I woodburn, I my hand starts to ache after awhile lol.
I really admire your skill!!! and your perseverance in the quest for perfection. you are truly a pyroghraphic master!

Oh yeah cramped hands for sure, and then the pen gets too hot to handle so I wrap a cloth around it, and then even that gets too hot to handle so I have to stop for a while then even though my stubborn streak wants to continue!!! Lol!!
I'm lucky to have very good eyesight, but even my eyes do get strained doing brickwork and stuff like that alright
I don't believe in old age. You are only ever as old as you feel you should be. Don't listen to Western societies distorted view of age,Β but rather feel young and you are young.

I'm not a town crier for old age either. I still feel like a kid in my head but the eyes and stuff start to go after awhile. it's inevitable lol.part of life and that journey to the final prize if you did a good job down here

You are a kid, and always will be. Physical injuries only ever show up when you forget that and contradict who you really are.
I've only being doing pyrography for about a year and a half so I've a long way to go yet to reach master or even professional level, but like yourself I will always be striving for better 
My latest piece has something very new, and I haven't seen it done before either, so if it works it will be a new milestone for me. Hopefully it will work. The Book of Kells book was also a piece like that for me. I had to learn so many new skills to get that one even close to right, and I messed it up so many times I actually wanted to burn it,Β and it is by no means perfect, but the next one I tried (the butterfly book) came out much easier and faster because of all of the mistakes I had made on the Kells one!!
