I don't see why it would be boring, unless it's anything like the art classes at UC where they base acceptance on grades as opposed to artistic talent and the first day all you do is draw lines. God, that was the dullest college I've ever seen. DX

This is absolutely beautiful. Isn't it amazing what dreams can inspire you to do?
Also, I liked this so much that I decided to look through your gallery (haha, I'm not a creeper, I just appreciate beauty) and I love how I could see the improvement between all the paintings. Over the course of your time here, your paintings have become not only more skillfully reflected, but also more emotionally captivating. That's awesome :]

Love the atmosphere of the piece. Even more so considering oil pastels can be quite tricky at times.

The dragon's design. :0 It is so epic!! And yes, i love the glowy sky. The whole picture looks like a hauntingly beautiful dream.

when I turn up the contrast on my computer screen, it doesn't really change the pic a whole lot for the better, so I like it at the contrast you've set it at.
The idea of the landscape is just really cool, thats what I really like about it. Some of the execution of the sky is just a tad off, there is a spot where I see a 'box' of black that seems to blot out the aura in the sky... Its kind of hard to describe.
Otherwise this picture is really cool. I like it a lot.
