(bangs pots and pans) Double update!! Give it up for a double up date!
I mean, it only happened because the last page uploaded was an interlude but hey, surely it has to count for something right?
I used a new lineart pen for this page and I. don't like it. Oops. At least there's lots of different colors/different lighting on this page! That was lots of fun and kept me motivated because it wasn't drawing the same background over and over. A lot of research into this page and the next one was me booting up my switch to grab dozens of screenshots of this location in different angles lol
We also have some cameos here! Finally I had a good excuse to use them. They'll be tagged below - thank you for letting me use your characters!

NOTES:
-Tbh I'm still riding the high of being out of the tutorial phase because man, am I excited for the Wild Area. My gameplay notes gave me a lot of potential and I am just : ))))
-The package mailing is based off the bus I used to take when I was living at the college resident. It was always funny to take the bus back up to Truro, and then have a package meant for me also delivered from that bus!
-Companion Pokemon! They're a plot point I was very excited to introduce, and while we only get a little taste of them here, we'll be learning more about them. The TL;DR is that they're based off service animals irl, and they aren't registered to compete in Pokemon battles. Eevee are a very popular choice for Companion Pokemon!
-What's this... an in-universe explanation and inclusion of the hand holding swsh does.... haha just kidding.... unless?
(for those worried, this entire comic will not just be potshots at SwSh's admittedly flimsy plot and execution. I'm very fond of SwSh, despite its flaws, and this comic won't just be crapping on the game. However, I do want to include commentary on flaws of the game and expand more on it. So no, this story won't just be going "wow SwSh sucks" but I do really want to delve into how this story functions and expand on the spots its lacking in!)
