Waking up that morning had been odd, to say the least. Seren groaned as they stretched once more in an attempt to get rid of the dull itching ache on their back. Letting out a huff at the ineffectiveness, Seren shrugged it off the best they could before heading down to greet the day. It was probably nothing.

Of course it did get suspicious when later in the day their ears gained the same itch, and walking suddenly became really uncomfortable when a weird buzzing sensation started to come in intervals in their hands and tail.
Whatever was happening, Seren was only sure of one thing: sleep would not come easy tonight.
