Okay.. I'm sorry, i don't mean to start a fight.. but if it was a huge problem, deviant art would get rid of all the gifs that they don't want... Because it is like youtube! If there is a copyrighted song, they take off the music.

right, they take off the song when a user reports it to be in violation of copyright. a lot of clips in youtube are still up and probably in copyright violation, eg. this song [link]

Well, my point is.. Youtube does a good job at taking off copyrighted songs. If it was a big problem to deviant art, they would have sent out a notice and take off a lot of the gifs.. so i don't think it is really a big deal considering many other people do it. And since this is such a big online website, and it was such a big problem i think they would have already done something about it... :3
