It's great! though I still miss the original background this one is a good substitution. Flat brick walls bother me, but that's a personal problem XD
I love how the light and shadow play on Halo's outfitm- very...multifaceted and complex. And of course it contrasts with his pale-ass self. I like that, it's discomfiting and a little intimidating, too.
Why did you cut off the bottom? We don't get to see the rest of the Quarter Moon, and I also wish it were as shiny as the swords you've done; it would pop more.

that's not actually the quarter moon, it's just a random gun... I really need to get to drawing the quarter moon...
as for the background, I knew that if I just didn't finish something and put it on there that I never would, so I just stuck with something simple. I'll get more advanced the more I do (hopefully). it was actually kind of fun making that wall. I originally just designed one brick then copied and pasted it a million times and stacked it on top of itself until it looked like a wall. later I went back and tries to individualize all of the bricks, and I think it worked out okay
and I cut it off because that's really where the cut off point was... yeah, there was a little bit of his crotch in there and the other side of his gun, but his ass was missing and I didn't feel like drawing it so I just cut that whole bit out
