they didn't have the funds and they really didn't want people to pay to be able to use poses if I remember correctly. I also think Foxgrin had other plans other than paying to be able to have the site up.
I remember they opened for donations, but since I was like 12 I did not have the ability to donate anything :c and almost no one else donated.
