I made this for my Studio Art class, at the last minute no less. It's lightly based on a dream I once had--I was at a beach with incredibly clear, blue water, and it was populated by cute little crabs like the ones seen in my illustration. There were also random pillars of silver or steel, which were much more evenly-shaped and consistent in silvery-color.

This was also a personal test of how to use the Add and Subtract layers on Open Canvas 1.1, and I think I have the hang of it. Oh my effin' gawd I LOVE this program to bits. It strikes a really nice balance--OC is simple to understand, but still has enough tools to get the job done. The "old" blur tool is SO COOL. 8D It's really high-quality for something that's free, and doesn't have any major issues apart from the glitch that happens when you combine negative layers. Yeah. Take that, Photoshop.
