i need to also get used to using my bounce flash as this shoot was only planned last minute!! i find using continuous lighting much easier for creating mood think the lighting on this shot is a bit flat imo!!

You're welcome for the feedback, face looks a bit better now yes.
And don't worry about the bra strap, these things happen all the time.

thanks for the constructive critisism I quite agree, nadia was sat next to me as i edited this one last night and she wanted me to give her the full smooth skin treatment and was amazed at the result but the problem with that is that with it being a picture of her she is so over critical of herself ive upped the clarity on her face but even as shot it looks like its been airbrushed her complexion is flawless and she is doll like in real life!!! as for the bras strap my attention to detail needs to be improved, so annoying when you discover things like this after the shoot!!! thanks again

Nice shot, but you need to really look at your airbrushing skills, it's good to airbrush and smooth-out the skin for that glamorous look, but not to the determent of the natural texture of the skin.

Gathering that you're using Photoshop (or similar):
- when you select, use 'feather' to get softer edges
- don't airbrush on the main image, copy the area you're to airbrush to a separate layer and then when you're done brushing, use transparency fading and filters/masks to bring the texture back.
- use burn to (delicately) re-define eyebrows, nose contours and other features.
- there's loads of video tutorials on the web.

Keep at it.
