This is one of my all time favorite movies :]
Watched this since i was a child, absolutely love every aspect of this film, the style, the acting and of course the costume! Bill Campbell was a terrific rocketeer.
Thought id give the poster that vintage 40's look!
Always wanted a second movie, which should be based on Cliff's new-york adventure. Seeing the Rocketeer fly around new-york in the 1930s/40's would be breath-taking.
Why hasn't a studio picked up on this idea?
Some-one should start a petition! :]

That's right, I knew I saw that! It's a great poster, but can I make a small suggestion? It's missing Carol, Bonnie and Ricky... maybe Bonnie could be bending over and Ricky could be scoping her out or something....
Anyway, just food for thought. I really like the poster either way.

Wow! I. LOVE. IT.
"The Rocketeer" has become a forgotten live-action gem. Disney had a modest hit on their hands, but it didn't become the blockbuster they had hoped for, and thus they have let it gather dust (and that weird moth ball smell) in their 'vault'.
I had hoped that when "Captain America: The First Avenger" (Joe Johnston directed, Disney owned) was announced Disney would release a Blu-ray edition. Maybe when Cap comes out on DVD they will.

This is fantastic work! I loved this movie and as soon as I saw this I immediately started thinking about where my movie was so I could watch it.

I love the movie, its a shame they didnt do a second movie, cliffs new-york adventure would be a treat!
