foam, posterboard, embossing powder (instead of paint, although using an embossing heat gun started to melt the foam inside the posterboard ...)

Hmm, is there an advantage to using embossing powder or was it just handy?

so i learned this trick about using multiple spray paints to give it texture of a worn out metal

the embossing powder also can mimick a metal shine even better and gives it the uneven colored look i desire, uneven colored gives it 'shading' and makes it look less fake

basically i wanted to use textures that weren't just posterboard to look like a prop, that's why embossing powder and foam was used.


and your right, it was also handly cause i have a crap load of embossing powder and was too lazy to set up a space to spray paint which i would have to purchase several cans off.


Oh I also started off with a black poster board to help limit the amount of painting i had to do
