Description
Hello, it's been a while!This is my Code Geass contest entry.
Honestly, i've loved the idea of C.C. being the one to resurrect Lelouch and i've done my best to illustrate in her doing so in the way that I envisioned it.
I love vintage themed drawings and tarot card illustrations so i've tried to draw in such a style that would represent them.
I hope you like it and wish me luck!!!

Congratulations on getting into the semifinals!!!! I love how this doesn't need color for us to get the whole idea, the yellow, the sunshine rays and the idea overall are so powerful.

the characters shouldn't look like code geass original art, should have used my own art style as I didn't this piece didn't count as my original art. Lesson learned for a next time

Wait. What?! What???? They didn't even put that in the official rules, something I read for several days! They only said that it couldn't be copied directly from the source, not 'look' like it! I mean it looks like you drew it from a reference but it doesn't look copied! Your lineart and use of design is there enough (in my opinion) to warrant it as original work. Wtf man your works were one of the works I thought was deserving of it. I was bitter with a lot of it cause I thought it didn't convey the theme properly and one of their rules even had something that said that you cannot have the title 'code geass' on your work (one work there has code geass) so clearly they're not being consistent...
I would've been happy losing to you, that really sucks. This contest is making me mad lol

And this is what exactly mean "be inspired". Such a beautiful art, that in some way is nostalgic and it shows the metaphysics of the title.

Wow...(pauses a moment to take the piece in, in awe). The composition of this piece, the colors and layout are simply breathtaking. The light beams draw the viewers eye to the center where Lelouch stands revived. The facial expressions are perfect, CC with her somewhat sad/forlorn look, Suzaku and Nunnally looking as serious and ever. And Kallen looking ready to fight (man I would not want to be near her when she has that face XD). All of this placed nicely on a starry background. Astonishingly beautiful piece, love it!
I totally agree with alienbrainwave , this is totally shirt material. With your permission I might just print this out and iron it onto a shirt myself.
Great job and good luck in the contest! I cant draw very well so I 3D modeled my entry, really enjoying flipping though all these amazing works.

Hello! Thank you, I am really glad you liked it. The characters are as you described, I wouldn't be able to imagine them otherwise haha ( Especially Kallen xD )
As it's a contest entry I am not too sure if this can ever become a print at all as rules mentioned the entries going to belong to funimation.
I've tried to do some 3D modeling in the past, but unfortunately I never really got good at it so I am envious of that!

Thanks ^^. Good point, I guess Funimation has partial claim to all entries so prints, even for personal use only, could be questionable.
Keep up the great work, your art is awesome, pleasure to meet a fellow Fairy Tail fan! You're really good at anime/manga style and I read a bit of your NaLu comic, it's quite impressive that you created that all on your own.
It's too bad it came to an abrupt end, people need to be more sensitive about what they put in comments, it's sad how many decent fan comics out there are cut short due to rude comments. Ah well.
If you like my works and are ever down for a trade...well it might be fun to exchange some fan art XD.

this is incredible! they colors, the composition, the expressions... everything adds together to make a striking visual. i love how the the composition draws the eye towards lelouch at the focal point. really stupendous.
do you have a redbubble or online store or something? if you put it on redbubble i would for sure buy a teeshirt with this design, i love it so much!

oof bummer! i will say though, that redbubble is really easy to use and completely free! all you have to do is upload your art, decide what youd like it on ( anything from stickers to tee shirts to prints to clocks and other household items). then if someone orders something, redbubble handles the production and shipping of the product! the artist gets a cut of the profits, though small, in my opinion its better than nothing, you know? Just figured id let you know! obviously no pressure to use redbubble i know some people just arent fond of it! (but if you do decide to use it and put this on there... let me know lmao)
