Ever had those times when you should be working on something else, but the idea for a picture just pops into your brain and demands to be made right then and there, before you forget any and all inspiration? Yeah. That's what happened right here. Though it didn't turn out as cool as I'd hoped.I can't figure out what that thing on Kurama's outfit is supposed to be… I've heard it referred to as a phoenix before, though.

I love Kurama in this outfit! But, as I'm cosplaying as him this year, I've wanted to change the colors since I can't find ANY shade of that blue/purple to match it. So, I'm making it black with red trim and the red phoenix/fox pattern. Think this is okay for a cosplay? I keep second guessing myself.

Me too! That sounds like a really cool cosplay, I hope it turns out well. Myself, I'd use a purple color with the fox pattern, so it looks more like the original, but it would look really cool in black!
