Well.. I sat down to do my 30min study, and chose to draw Loki again.. garr.. i'm hopeless...I should call this... Daily Loki by Slugette?
I actually wasn't going to post all my studies, but I quite like how this one turned out.

LOL, yeah I've been doing more random studies since.. I reckon I can already draw Loki pretty good, so I've been practicing drawing girls..
I don't know why I find it harder to draw girls...

I know what you mean, actually. I used to draw girls all the time and it was easier, and was always complaining about drawing men. "Eghh I made his lips too girly." "No boy eyelashes hooowww??" "His jaw is too tiny bahh."
Now that I've been drawing TONS of men, it's so much easier. I need to get back to drawing women more because I'm a little rusty XD It's just so hard with all the fabulous men to draw! Haha

Well.. it might be because with this new method of painting, I don't need to sketch first.. so it's that much quicker?

Dem cheekbones~ I really like the brush strokes you use, they are so nice and soft, yet textured too ;u;

It's actually just a normal hard round brush at about 50% flow, so I can apply quite softly.
The texture is applied on a layer on top with 'multiply' setting, to give that traditional painted feel.
Yesterday's study doesn't have texture layer at all, but this one I thought it'd be nice to add one.
