This is the first good looking backgroung Ive done on a pic. I like the atmosphere a lot. This is prob my favorite CG ive done. What do you guys think?

Hey great pic, Spawn is also a char i like, so, by the time you have paintet Spawn, you get some points from me, and then you have coloured it really nice and smooth, with an atypic background, but it WORKS!! you just get some more points...
I like the way you have made the sunraise, it is there, but Spawn seem's to keep him self out of the sun, its cool.
And i have never seen a spawn drawning with a sunraise and spawn in the same pic

Ah yes, thanks for the comments, I was gonna try and go for a bit of a different effect with the cape, but let it go in the end. ^___^
Spawn is majorly bad ass though. Ive colored about 12 spawn covers total. :0

Thanks! I just used the paintbrush tool for the clouds. Thats it
as far as technique: I just started with a basic color and shape, then added shadows, and light, and extra color, smudging in between to get the form right.
I use a pressure sensitive tablet btw.

Its real nice, prolly one of my favorites, just one thing the background is great, your write its awesome, the cloiuds but I dont like the light in the background, I think it would be better solid, but just an opinion, otherwise awesome!
