Fourth yes woman rights under Islam are bad by today standards, but not by past standards. A Muslim woman in the first centuries of Islam had more rights than before Islam or Roman woman for example. That's admirable, in of itself. They stood with a country in a time where it wasn't popular to defend them, it still really isn't too popular to stand with America. It's just mostly been Russia, France and America up until this point really. Most apparently thought the conflict in the Middle East was a fight between Between America and the Taliban. Now Isis shows up which is pretty much Taliban 2.0 and is targeting the whole of the western nations. Now a lot more support is being given which I am honestly happy about that. It means that the whole awful war that's been going on nonstop for 14 years might end in the next few years. With everyone finally working together rather than saying "not my problem" we might have some semblance of peace soon. Thank god for that.
