I wish I could have pointy jutty hip bones like this.gah! so this is what I worked on before I went to Gov. School this summer. It was pretty tedious and my fingers turned totally black but this was about the most fun (artwise) I've had in a while. Anyway I did it using various ink/ ink pens and I used several different shades of pencil for the gray.
hours it took= time flies when your having fun. (ohohoh kind of like that... yeah, commercial.) *dies*

I looked up some of her artwork. Her paintings are really cool! I love the grittiness of it and all of the symbolism. Man, it's so amazing. I am definitely inspired to push the limit more on my art now, thanks for telling me about her work.

Coloring, haha... believe it or not I never thought about it. The actual image is quite large so doing that would take an insane amount of time. haha. sooo, coloring might have to wait until the summer. But thank you, I really enjoy feedback like this.

yay! thanks, these inks are the best. well some of them were. The inks that I used for the birds are actually fading (darn lack of UV protection!). blegh. I'll look up the brand and tell you what the name is so you won't make the same mistake that I made. Micron is the best there is! it won't fade.

I'll make the tattoo look so small that with the naked eye it'll be like a freckle or something but with a microscope at the 1000000000000000th power you'll just be able to make it out.
but thanks! and yes. I do have a really big scanner. It's actually my bed. All you have to do is flip up the matress to realize that what your really sleeping on is a giant machine.
but I didn't use the bed-scanner for this, I did a digital shot using a technique Belinda taught me.
