hey wait...THERE'S A SPRITE!...aaand...THERE'S ONE! So I guess I'll make sure to be in the next one. Until then... I must practice to be better in the art of scratching sprites.

The Sprite I did was based on the final fantasy tactics squire sprite which I then attacked with photopaint as recently have been changing the portraits from the game to look like my friends
Maybe one day I shall try from scratch

I do belive I just got over my feelings of insignificance just nao @_@. I'm quite surprised really, wasn't expecting that a number of good peices are edits or based on other sprites. Still, what was going to be my entry was something of a "I was gonna do that anyway, how convinient." thing. But on the other hand I think I need any experience I can get.

Hm, I guess for the heck of it I'll put in one of my beta sprite sheets, it should be up in a bit so check tomorrow I guess. If you haven't figured I'm all like, new to this "Art" and... "Deviant" thing. Don't be musjudged by my like... 11-month membership.

Yes, I made one of the sprites, and these are a great excuse to practice. I hadn't done any spriting in years, and even then it wasn't anything very impressive, but I decided to try making a scout for that collab, based on Megaman. Each pixel-class I made was more adventurous, and the Demoman I made from scratch

Really, my sprites... as half of the only images show in my gallery almost exactly ARE Megaman sprites >_>... Though yeah, right now I can edit sprites at about 8-bit and with a lot of effort and time make something decent in 16-bit. I can only scratch sprites in what I call 2.8-bit (shortened number for the square root of 8 if you're wondering)

The whole hodgepodge is so terrifyingly unique. One's a metal spike-crotch soldier, another is a plushie, another is in pixels...

Incase no one got why I made the soldier a worm from... well, Worms, it's cause the main weapon in Worms is a bazooka, and the soldiers keeps calling people MAGGOTS, and that is like WORMS!
