I love it, it's so barren and beautiful. I have made that same bus ride many times before and it never gets old to me

i just wish it was bigger... I'd love to use it as a desktop pic...

also i like the clouds... but the landscape is a bit stark... so in essence there is a sort of balance... unexpected balance, the stark barren landscape below vs the wonderous blue and fluffy skyscape above...

I don't really see the beauty in the pic... I like the clouds as well, but except that... it's just a bus view for me. I thought it was maybe interesting to upload it, in case someone would care about how the landscape is like between Puebla and Oaxaca

Actually the quality isn't bad, seen the fact it's taken in a bus behind a window...

Yeah, just a matter of the position of the sun and no reflection

perhaps cleaning off the window and camera lens would help too.

Hmmm... yes, but of everything's clean, you might have a reflection though. If you take the pic very close to the window, and your lens parallel with it, you might not see it, like this one...

If not taken parallel a polarising filter really helps.

hmmmm... thats what i want...to get a set of ND and Polarising filters...

slecocqphotography In reply to lz3broc [2006-12-13 00:10:16 +0000 UTC]

A polarising filter isn't too expensive... you got UV filters as well? I suppose you have, but it's good to have one always on to protect your more expensive lens of dirt, dust, etc. And in case your cam falls...

i wonder if the neutral density and polarising filters i have on my dig vid cam would work on my Nikon as well....

hmmm that excites me somewhat... the next chore will be to uncover my dig vid cam thats hiding in my walk in closet likely under 12 dozen old flat portfolios of drawings and empty boxes and clothes i no longer fit.

haven't heard that rendition... unfortunately I've never been too big into iron maiden sorry.

but i'll google it and later might see what I can find.

my cd is the andrew lloyd weber soundtrack... I always loved sarah brightman and michael crawfords voice

I know the names, bit i can't connect it to music maybe i know some songs that were famous...

The song phantom of the opera is everything what Iron Maiden stands for... There's a solo of 3 minutes, alternated by the two guitarists... amazing to see that live If you'd find the song... the version on "Live after death", one of the best metal live albums ever, is te best... Recorded live in LA in 1984 or '85

The Mexican sky between Puebla and Oaxaca, which can be of a beautiful blue at times thanks you And i think you for liking it, as i'm the person that could photograph the sky between Puebla and Oaxaca that occasionally has a beautiful blue colour

The more I look at the sky, the more I like it. The colour is so vivid it even gives the mountains far away an almost sea-blue hue. aaah!
