I've got an amusing tale of Skyrim:
While unraveling the mystery behind that mysterious fire in Morthal, my roommate snuck his character into the suspect's house. He was spotted, and ill-equipped to defend himself at the time. He ran through the town to attract help from the guards...to no effect (more wonderful first-run Bethesda coding.)
In a desperate attempt to nudge their scripts out of stupor, he entered the Jarl's hall and engaged her in conversation.
The upshot: She casually got out of her bed. With a murder suspect storming across the floor towards them, axe in hand and flinging curses, she asked the Dragonborn "Well? Is he guilty, or not?!"

Awesome! I remember just the time when this happened. I was at Alduin's Wall, like "I've always heard about this quest. I really wanna hear what Esbern has to say about this prophecy, because I can't figure out anything from looking at this carving". So I started listening to Esbern. Then CICERO STARTED SINGING. I told him to wait at the side, but he didn't .... in the end I sorta gave up. Even with subtitles his dialogue covers Esbern's. XD

Hey, you don't have to be a Nord to join the Stormcloaks.
My Wood Elf got screwed over by the Thalmor as a kid, and joined up with the Stormcloaks when the Empire didn't do squat.
But I think if a bunch of provinces joined up together, they could kick some SERIOUS Thalmor ass. They're the real problem.

True, but you've gotta consider:
Not ALL High Elves are assholes. The Thalmor are the ones ruining Skyrim and the Empire. Elves like Calcelmo and his nephew probably don't care a fig for the Thalmor, and wouldn't care if they left (it would also be a damn shame to see them go, as Calcelmo is bloody awesome). The same applies for Niranye in Windhelm; she gives no fudgeos whatsoever, she's just there to turn a profit.
You also have to consider other unnamed High Elven citizens, and all that jazz.
(But if by "elves" you mean the Thalmor exclusively then I'm blowing this all out of proportion MY BAD >.<)

Because the Stormcloaks are too stupid to know that Ulfric's cause is unjust.But from the Imperial's perspective, I got no idea.
Though it would be nice for Dovahkiin to be able to park his/her half-dragon butt on the royal throne. The daedra would be so proud.
