More awesome art I see! (ooh, he's pretty cute! )Β
One issue with the anatomy: the eyes don't look quite like they're even.
Also, he's kinda holding the gun like a violin. Such a delicate weapon mmyes, must handle with care, quite quite.
The shading looks SUPER sweet, and I like how you did the background.

Yeah, something's up with the eyes.Β I'll try tweaking it later on or something.Β As for the gun, I should have used a better technique putting it in his hands to give him a firmer grip.Β He's not meant to be holding it like, in action or something, but rather holding it loosely between firefights or whatever.Β Maybe next time I'll give him a combat pose so it's more clear and try to anchor the hands to the weapon better.

I think the gun just probably doesn't look as heavy as one would think it would be. There's probably a way to make it look heavier while still not holding it combat-like.
Also, if he's not holding it in combat, or intending to shoot momentarily, his finger should be outside the trigger guard. My gun-loving friends always remind me of this. In this pic actually his finger might be short enough that it is actually right but it's hard to tell.

Well I have a tendency to overthink stuff after I post it, and I think I've come up with some good ways to put weight onto stuff like this in the future.Β Also, good to know about the finger/trigger guard!Β Definitely didn't know that!Β

It's a shame most Hollywood productions and games don't propagate gun safety facts like that.
Cool, I look forward to seeing more future art!

Wait if there is a hole in the middle of the shotblaster then why does it need a pump action on the bottom? or is it a grip?

I'm going to call it a grip, since presumably this thing doesn't need to load/unload shells, but rather, have its energy core switched out periodically.

The little cylinder at the end shall be a built-in laser site.

Itβs looking sweet congrats on the kick starter by the way. Talking lore and tech for a second were does the energy cell get loaded into? And who is the company that manufactures the gun? I know it will probably be swapped out for somthing better as the way rpg's work but it be ironic of the companey manufacturing the guns was also the bad guy of the story. lol

Thanks!Β I haven't decided if I should have the cell load in from the bottom of the grip, or if I should make the cell the cylindrical neon part and have it slide in and lock into place from the side (the thing behind and up from the trigger).Β There is a company that manufactures this and other weapons in the game, but we haven't decided on a name for the company yet.
