This was a commission I got from the talentedhe did the main image which can be found here:

a Friend of mine sent me a back ground digital image, and I did some minor modifications to the Star Superion work, and added it to the back ground and supplied a border..
anyhow.. I like this..

The star on his chest looks a little 2D (probably because of the visible outline on it), but all in all, it looks pretty cool!

thanks man, yeah the outline is how it should be, even in real life if a costume was made, I would want that line to separate the white lines from the star..so even then I am sure it would look 2D or off.. but that is just how I want his suit to show it..

Okay, I see what gives it the flat appearance. It's not the outline; it's the shading, or lack thereof. He's got strong shading across his torso but this doesn't appear on the star, which makes it look pasted in front of him like a sticker. If possible, consider booting up a digital color program and adding some basic shades for the contours of his chest over the start with a mild gray or bluish color.

hmmmm you may be right, I took the image an redid the star removing some of the lines, but I made it like the original artist had made it..
