The New Century, or so they say, a malevolent power has taken over the Earth, forming a new world wide regime, called the U.E.G. (United Earth Government).

[link] has been subjugated and placed into a massive machine that projects his mental powers about the Earth via a satellite network, making most humans fall in line. Those heroes who rebel against the new world Order have found a way to block the mental projections via a nano drug, which inhibits the Master Mentalist's subjugation powers.

The Cosmic Centurion came to Earth shortly after the Battle of Titan.. and using his vast cosmic powers defeated all of earth's villains. Once completed, the cosmic centurion began to enforce the will of the Globalist movement, which eventually became the U.E.G.

Many of Earth's heroes died defending the Earth from the war at Titan..so it was easy for the Cosmic Centurion to institute order and control..Leo Sabre went underground and formed a separate network of heroes to monitor and support the Resistance of the Iron Eagle.. the Guardian Legion disbanded, and many of its heroes disappeared..

As the Tied finally turned in the Battle for Earth, the Cosmic Centurion was revealed to be None other then Anthony Powers, son of Adam Powers, the Star Superion [link]

The Cosmic Centurion has the ability to manipulate matter and energy to create a massive quantum charge, which can disrupt reality for brief moments and level mountains, this ability is also capable of bending time-space around the Cosmic Centurion, allowing him to move out of time, and around a target, and attack form behind, or at a distance.. though this ability causes him to be weakened over time.
