Description Personal work to prep for a sci-fi theme project.

This personal work is inspired by the Sumerian tale of the planet Nibiru, studied by Zecharia Sitchin. The legend about a race of being call Anunnaki that created human as their workforce on Earth. They come from planet Nibiru that enters the orbit of Sun’s inner planets every 3600 years, causing civilization-ending disasters.

There's also other theory that Nibiru is actually part of a 7-planets star system with their parent star called Nemesis. Nemesis is also a red dwarf star (Binary star companion to our Sun) with a distinctive red tail which gave rise to legends in many different cultures.

My take on it is that the Anunnaki is so advanced that they could build cities and bases directly on their sun’s surface. On the right is Nibiru (with her gold dust covered atmosphere) and Red Kachina in the distance.

Many legends about this and it's fun read.

There is no Nibiru.

*Facepalm*
Just like flat earth, but does that stop anyone from painting a flat earth illustration?

Just for fun in exercising imagination.

I really want to see an interpretation on the map of the Nemesis/Nibiru system, especially in your style. This is EPIC.

As stars are balls of gas - on fire from nuclear fusion, but still - those structures are probably, well, floating rather than resting on the "surface." Because stars are on fire from nuclear fusion, any civilization that could build anything on the surface - never mind entire cities - would have to be the most advanced civilization I can imagine. That's pretty exciting and crazy to think about. There's no denying this is a spectacularly awesome image. ^_^

Skyrion In reply to Wyvern-1 [2018-08-18 17:08:20 +0000 UTC]

Yup, it's not possible to land on surface because there aren't really any real hard surface. So most likely it will be floating with special shielding to protect the structures.
Probably like a partial dyson sphere but real close to the surface.

Thanks!

I was thinking of Dyson spheres when I saw this, ahaha! There's this star out there, KIC 8462852 - better known as Tabby's Star, whose brightness periodically dims by as much as about 20%. One of the possible explanations for it is that an alien civilization could be constructing a Dyson sphere-type object around the star...though there are other explanations, like an uneven dust ring encircling the star. But so fun to think about. ~ ^_^

I will believe in Dyson sphere in a heartbeat. Level 3 and most likely level 2 civilizations should have the capability to harness 100% of their sun's energy. A Dyson sphere will make a lot of sense.
But the proportion of logistics and management will be crazy astonishing.

NO problem
and is nibiru an actual planet in space?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Skyrion In reply to beemaister [2018-08-18 04:41:05 +0000 UTC]

It's hypothetical. It basically a legend from ancient Sumerian tablets/texts. Alternative theorist believed that this is real and has affected human civilizations in the past.

Check out Zecharia Sitchin

Probably. In fact I hope so. Because if not, it wouldn't be a pleasant sight when such a system heading our way.
