As a general rule, I don't watch anime, but recently I've been making an exception when it comes to films by Hayao Miyazaki. After watching Howl's Moving Castle a few months ago and thinking it wasn't so bad, I recently decided to watch Princess Mononoke, and I really enjoyed it.

Ashitaka was I think one of the best characters I've seen in anything recently, so I figured that warranted a fanart. : ) Also, I can normally take or leave animal compantions (and often even dislike them, I'm looking at you, Maximus), but I really loved Yakul.
