OK, i dont think i'm good for some special kind of advanced critique. I'm here just because I wanted to say i like this piece of work very much. I like that waterworld feeling here, especially those shadows. It's calming down. I also wanted to ask you, do you plan to do some wallpapers?

awesome work, maybe the trail of the top planet looks a bit unreal but I guess that was your intention, and yes, it feels underwater.

Maybe its because I'm partial to blue, or maybe its because it's just plain awesome, but I faved. The shadow is rocking my socks.

I love how you gave the planets shadows. Nothing irks me more than when something as massive as a planet is placed in front of something and there is no shadow. And I like the "flour in the light" effect of the dust/nebula that allows the shadow to be seen. Great job!

Well since I'm not a premium member *sad face* I'll make my critique here

First off this is a very nice piece with good orginization and detail.

However, I see some imperfections. The first thing that hits me when I look at your piece is how out-of-place the glowing circle city thing on the largest planet looks.

1. It seems totally unnecessary

2. It seems flat and counteracts the curveature of the planet and

3. It distracts the viewer from the rest of the piece.

The next thing is more of a clairification issue. I'm not too sure what the line through the topmost planet is. Is it a ring(s)? If not what? If so, it needs to be redone because that was the second thing that I noticed when I looked at the piece.

Onto the planets: All of them look nice and have the correct lighting say for one. The large planet's moon thingy. That one's lighting is off. Their shouldn't be any glow showing off the lower right side of it. Also the two lower planet's glow is too dissimilar from the top planet's , you should make them closer to one another.

Finally to the background. I's supurb except that it fades from your "underwater" to space/stars too slowly. To be a more spacey piece you should show more space/stars and less "underwater"

I really liked this piece!

Keep up the good work!

~FUZZ

Thank you very much for your critique. Do you know you were the first ever writting such a great critique on my piece *happy face*? Anyway, you are right about the city... I was wondering for a while if it is correct or not but it seems strange to me too. I would definatelly listen to your advice and once there will be second version i will credit you !
