First Previous fav.me/darn676 >NextThis battle was surprisingly easy. Not much resistance from Flannery's end. The torkoal did get in an overheat with little damage done to Kipper (water/ground = barely a scratch on him). Once the sun wore off, it was all over. Critical hit finished off what was left of torkoal.
Now to explain to Nurse Joy what happened to the hot springs....

What would happen if Sora became like Kipper in the sense that they can only talk in references? Would her call for Kipper be a parody of the "Scooby-Doo, Where Are You?" theme?
Also, I know that song. a bit old-school for my taste but that's just me. Ironic since I listen to a radio station that has the catchphrase of "The best of the 80's, 90's and whatever. Turn your knob to Bob."

It was really a easy battle i also did this battle with onloe my marchtomp

I wasn't worried. I think anyone who started with mudkip (or a memekip as I did) would have an easy time of it.

A colored update? Nice. These are much better in colors, imo.
Overheat can still hurt Marshtomp, water resists fire but ground doesn't. A critical hit from Overheat+stab is a pretty powerful combo.
I almost want to draw fanart of this battle because Flannery :'P

I figured gym battles should at least be in color. And the climatic moments in the future will be as well.
I did take an overheat but it really didn't do too much. I was a bit surprised myself. Still, I figured it might've been the type and sun wearing off. Or Kipper was a good level for the fight. Or just plain dumb luck. Why question it?
