Every gift art I've done to this point, I've done my best to capture not only the colors and details of these artists characters and sonas, but also their own style, to show more of my appreciation to them while also try to make an original drawing of them from my own perspective. I say this because this was probably the most challenging one I've done so far, but as a result I think it came out pretty well.

I think its because Rus's style, to me at least, looks so majestic, so otherworldly, it results in an impressive style of art that's full of detail and emotion. With that great style comes the great TLOS: Pure Light comic that I've been reading/following for years now and I am loving it. I really do appreciate that RusCSI has helped to continue the comic and what she has done to make it more interesting and enjoyable.
With that said, I just wanted to mention Xannador and DragonOfIceAndFire for the effort they've put in because Xannador, from what I've heard, has made the original comic, then passed it to DOIAF, then to RusCSI. I am especially in love with the earlier comic pages when Xannador made them and they are sadly not as available to see anymore, now that Xannador's original account was taken down, but nonetheless I really love what they have done to keep the story going.

I've also noticed how RusCSI has implemented her own lore into this TLOS universe to make for an interesting story and how smart she is with her work in general, which was another inspiration to writing my own lore/story into my TLOS story as well.

I drew Electroy Thunderfang in here because 1: I couldn't think of a better way to make use of the extra negative space than drawing one of my favorite characters in the story. 2: I wanted to have a call back to one of my oldest deviations I've did when I drew a sketch and headshot of Electroy.
