Ahhhh, she was such a fun dragon to draw, aquatic dragons are seriously the coolest! I had too much fun drawing the background too, beach scenes are my favorite! Might tinker with the background so more later though, I feel like I can never quite get the spray just right, but otherwise I'm really happy with how this came out.

Can I say, I ADORE THIS. Everything about it makes me so happy! Her pose and the way her head is tilting down as if she spotted something in the water! The background suits her so well, she would be hanging out by an ocean for sure! I love the wave spray, <3

I'm so happy you liked the pose and background! I saw that drawing you did of her on the beach in your gallery, and that honestly kind of inspired the background. Plus beachy-type scenes really are my favorite kind of backgrounds to draw and I just couldn't resist doing one! c:
And ahhh, I'm so happy you like the coloring! I feel like traditional art is my stronger point, so I've been trying to improve more lately with the digital stuff. I honestly struggle with shading the most, but I'm really happy with how this one came out and I'm so happy you like it too!
