Just read the latest issue of the IDW Sonic comic, and I love Whisper even more than I did before.She is adorable and badass, made me want to draw her again!

Sky-beatz, my man you gotta tell me what black magic your using to make these drawings. Specifically the line work, it captures a very "non-digital" look to them. It's a bit hard explain, but they don't look artificial and it's an aesthetic that I've been try to learn for quite a bit now. Needless to say, I always enjoy seeing your stuff. So, keep at it.

My process of creating digital illustrations are a bit unorthodox, but I would love to tell you how I go about creating them!
As you already know, I use a mouse to draw all of my illustrations, don't have a working tablet, and haven't had one in years.
The drawing program I use is PaintTool SAI, and I use the Airbrush tool to do my line work.
Then I use a mix of the paint bucket tool and doing my own coloring, and if I need to do any effects, I import my work into Photoshop to do the rest.
