Amazing idea!

When you think about it a little - how is it even possible there is no game/movie like that?

When I think about it. Its how the show business works. No one wants to spend money into something new, something that did not yet prove to be successful,  a miking cow.
17. century isn't very popular now days. As many other time periods and conflicts. Medieval fantasy and Vikings is what rules the world now. And several years back, we had extra strong wave of WWII and Vietnam conflict period titles.
It makes little sense of course. anything could be made interesting. It just false conviction people require sequels and generally well known schemes, settings, topics, that are easy to pick up. Unfortunately its also partly true. This certain problem goes deeper and deeper. There are probably tons of articles in this regard... books even.

thank you

Yeah, you're right I guess. But it's still hurts me so bad that we don't have a movie based on the premise of your picture, or a nice fantasy cRPG set in XVII century-based setting, as opposed to another "sword and sorcery" one...

Hell, how worse would "The Thin Red Line versus Zombie Zulus" do, compared to "Sharknado" or something  ?
