aww what a cute kitty ;v; I think it looks really nice like this too with just the lines! I really like the way you did the shading with the patches of hatching~

someone teach me how to take photos of art omg I like fail every time but I don't wanna bother with the scanner for my sketches/doodles OTL

Thanks! c: I've gotten really into that sort of shading recently, it's kinda fun!

hahaha I used to have no idea either, seriously...I guess just messing around with instagram and looking at what others think looks "artsy" helps lol....actually, it's the main reason I'm not scanning any of this art in like I usually do, and why I went over to insta in the first place....it's sooooo much easier to just take little pictures of what you're working on than going and finding a scanner and then messing around with contrast and orientation and cropping and all that nonsense before you upload....lolgosh I'm such a huge lazybutt nowadays

haha you're welcome~ just wondering how thin was the pen/marker you used? ACEOs are already tiny but to do such detailed little lines I'm just??? Was it one of those teeny tiny 0.05mm ones?

I can't even get even decent lighting laughs real hard my phone absolutely hates me [and my camera even more so] My biggest issue is my fricking own shadows it's so hard to position myself so I can take the photo but also not cover half of it with my shadow dsjfdslgjs

Pretty small- the smallest I have is .005, it's barely seeable haha.

Try shooting during the daytime- I have the same problem at night when the lights are on. It might take a little adjusting, but in my experience the pics usually come out better.
