I love how the paw seems to extend towards us.It's just so detailed and the depth feels right.
When I think of despair,I have always imagined a wasteland of snow all around where you wander about,but never find anyone,till you feel so tired that you can't move further.Then as the cold seeps into every fiber of your body,you reach out for someone...anyone....but nobody comes.
This picture has captured that image of despair I conjured up as a child.
I'm also really impressed how you made those pencil specks so easily recognizable as snow.I most certainly can't do that.
