I promised myself that I would try more often to do different things outside of my comfort zone this year... So I decided to try to do something without any 3D elements, that didn't involve a portrait, using a very narrow pallette, no references and no real plan, lol. This image was painted from scratch in photoshop.Critical Comments Encouraged!! Please!

It's always fascinating to see an artists work outside his/her own comfort zone. Sometimes things like this are necessary for us to grow as artists. I really like this image - very attractive use of color and the way the composition moves the eyes from one end of the landscape to the other.
