He is so gorgeous I am obsessing lol
We recently got a Trake at the barn who needs his dressage brushed up, so I am working with him. Now I am in love.Β

we mostly compete hunters, but i'd love to get him out on a cross country course and into some low level dressage some day. he's out of the showjumping great special memories by abdullah. i have oodles of pictures of him, and i'll see if i can't dig up some of mikey under saddle.
he's honestly such a pleasure to work with and has the best work ethic. i've had him since he was 4, but he never really acted like a "baby"- he has his bratty moments but he's so level headed. there's not a single buck, kick, or rear in him. my trainer and i were both pretty astounded by how maturely he goes around.
trakehners may tend to be a little hotter, but they've got fantastic minds! i think you might find that with the one you're working with. they're such excellent sport horses.
