I thought you guys would like to see a familiar face next, hehe~. There's no way I wouldn't bring Moth in here, and while I was at it, I decided to finally spruce up his markings. I really like what I've done to them ;3c Plus I finally decided to put a transparent version of his markings on his ref so that I don't have to draw them every time. |'D I also decided to keep his amulet coin since I wanted to incorporate it in someway in his old design but never got a chance to do so. The one he's holding is most likely fake, but he keeps it with him due to sentimental value.
I'll be working on Tehya's ref soon as well, but the smol's grown up into a young teen who has a spirit of adventure like her dad ;;v;;

Moth is a charmer. That’s pretty much all you need to know about him. Due to his gentle yet somewhat mischievous nature, he can’t help but use his personality for flattery (Though most of his compliments are quite sincere, it’s the tone in which he delivers them that sometimes makes others doubt his motives). He used to be more of a flirt in his younger years, but finding love and making a family (then losing a major part of it) has mellowed him out. He’s very tolerant of others’ behaviors, yet he’s not a doormat and will immediately, but gently and firmly, set boundaries. He’s not one to be trod on.
While his speech is generally more formal, it’s noticeably more gentle around children and the ladies and more teasing and firm with the gents. He’s courteous, kind, and affable, yet he’s not one to get involved unless it’s truly necessary. In a way, he’s protecting himself since he knows that being a busybody has brought him much heartache and trouble in the past. Still, he won’t ignore someone in need, and should anyone need his aid, they’ll find in him a steady ally. However, they’ll also notice that he has a tendency to put others before himself to his detriment and that it takes much convincing for him to admit that and look after himself again. He has a problem with getting too involved in situations which, again, is why he tries to stay away from it all.

Anyone who meets Moth quickly realizes that he’s quite… smart. His mind works quickly, and he knows how to maneuver through different social situations with ease. His darker side seeps out during battles or when competing with other treasure hunters for the same artifact, and he’s willing to use high-handed techniques to get what he wants—as long as he doesn’t overstep moral boundaries… to an extent. In that way he can be manipulative, but only in circumstances that he deems fit. He has a family to feed after all, and as long as he isn’t causing any real harm, no hard feelings, right?

Timothy has mellowed out considerably. While his personality essentially remains the same, he is noticeably less concerned about matters that don’t involve him and prefers not to step in unless completely necessary. He claims that he's retired from being a treasure hunter, but nothing catches his interest more than hearing about an obscure yet valuable and undiscovered artifact. Chances are he'll be on the move soon after nonchalantly ushering more information from the informant.

—He claims he doesn’t like his markings that much which is why he covers his arms with bandages and his back with his cape. Still… there’s more to that than he initially lets on.
—The bandages around his left arm go up further than the ones on his right, mostly because of the damage done to it.
—His markings are based off of a moth, not a butterfly (though admittedly, most moths don’t look like his markings //cough)
—Sometimes people who want to throw him off or insult him call him “Moth,” but since Timothy actually likes that nickname, it gives the opposite affect.
—Moth is extremely perceptive and can instantly notice if something’s off about someone, especially if they’re hiding something or are not what they seem.
—He has a soft spot for children and has always wanted to be a dad.
—He tends “adopt” others and treats like family. Perhaps its because of his history that he does that…
—The amulet coin he’s holding in his ref is actually a fake, but he carries it around with him as a memento of the first “treasure” he discovered.
—While Moth was better known when he was younger, his name as well as his accomplishments are still well-recognized in the treasure-hunting community.
—He has a few hearts hidden in his markings.
—He speaks in a low, soft, soothing tone most of the time.
—He’s an ENFJ, and his alignment is Lawful Neutral.
—One of his favorite hobbies is dancing, and he’s quite good at it.
