well, you still can. What were you thinking about? I believe that details can make alot of difference and its important in an image. Like good lightning or just a little thing that brightens up the image.

Maybe make some parts more or less vivid, or just add more to it, like little rocks and debris, so it's less vague.

I have the same issue. My images tend to be to vague. I would like to create something more unified. Im working on a mystic/mage right now. But as I said, i have to work hard on shapes and feed my imagination alot.

Try making several images that are linked to each other thematically.
